MQ Open Forum: Walking Clients Through Professional Transition

About the Webinar

Whether you’re working with young professionals, seasoned executives, or entrepreneurial business owners, the opportunities to help your clients proactively plan their career paths are abundant. In this MQ Open Forum, we’ll talk about ways to support your client as they transition from one professional identity to another.

This webinar is an excellent fit if you feel ready to take a deeper dive into the conversations you’re having around life transitions. The way your client spends forty (plus) hours a week is bound to impact more than how their salary and benefits fit into financial planning software. Together, we’ll discuss ideas to help your working clients proactively plan for the transitions they may face in their careers. We’ll also touch on some planning opportunities and resources you may not have thought of yet, including helping your client with strategic planning and goal setting for their business.

Our MQ Open Forum webinars bring collaborative discussions to the virtual meeting space. Each session will focus on a particular topic and highlight the pertinent
practical/emotional aspects of client relationships and processes. The format for each Open Forum will be similar:

  • 20 minutes: We will begin with a brief introduction to the topic and share the MQ
    Perspective
  • 20 minutes: We will provide a handful of questions before moving into small group
breakouts, allowing you to discuss the topic, learning with and from others
  • 20 minutes: We will reconvene as a large group to share the key takeaways

Be sure to take advantage of these valuable opportunities to interact with like-minded peers and gain new insights and ideas for your practice.

(Last month, we touched on the fundamentals of the transition inquiry categories of MQ tools and resources. We will be building on those fundamentals during this conversation. If you’re looking for foundational information around this topic area, we suggest you watch the recording in our education archive before joining us.)
