What if I make the wrong choice? If I’m just following the path ahead of me, then I can keep blaming it on the system, or I can keep blaming it on my upbringing, or I can keep blaming it on somebody who pointed me in the wrong direction. But this is me now. This is me having to make this choice … I didn’t feel the upside of having all these choices. I felt the downside of, “There’s too many things to pick from.”
